Learn what Trusty Calculator collects, why limited data is used, how long feedback is retained, and when third-party services can load.
How this applies
Core calculators work without an account. Detailed feedback stores calculator and content versions, locale, category, optional message, status, and time for up to 180 days. We do not ask for calculation inputs, results, identity, or a full page URL. Cloudflare provides hosting and security. In permitted regions only, Google Analytics, cookie-free Ahrefs Web Analytics, and Adsterra may load; Ahrefs does not require personal information, and all three remain off in the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Tor, or when the region is unknown.
For convenience, this browser stores the stable IDs of up to three recently used calculators in local storage. It does not store calculation inputs or results, the list is not uploaded, and clearing this site’s data removes it.
Experience analytics with Microsoft Clarity
During the initial pilot, we use Microsoft Clarity only on the selected adult financial calculator, the Present Value Calculator, when its URL has no query string or fragment and our existing regional, Global Privacy Control, and browser opt-out checks permit optional integrations. Clarity collects interaction metrics, heatmaps, and session recordings only to find usability problems and improve the experience.
Calculator inputs, results, and the inline feedback area are masked from Clarity. The Clarity project has cookies turned off, and ConsentV2 is sent with both analytics storage and advertising storage denied. Clarity does not load on any other calculator or page, or when any of those privacy checks blocks it.
Microsoft states that Clarity recording playback data is normally retained for 30 days. Click and heatmap data are retained for 9 months; labeled or favorited sessions may also be retained for 9 months. Microsoft deletes the data, including backups, after the applicable retention period.
