Formula
Decimal terms are normalized to a common power of ten and divided by their shared GCD. Scale factor = target value ÷ selected original term; every original term is multiplied by that factor.
Example
The ratio 2:3:4 scaled so its first term is 10 becomes 10:15:20 with a scale factor of 5.
