Formula
Composite = correct MCQs ÷ 60 × 66⅔ + long-FRQ percent ÷ 6 + short-FRQ 1 percent ÷ 12 + short-FRQ 2 percent ÷ 12. These components total 100 possible points; editable descending cutoffs map the practice composite to scores 1–5.
Worked example
With 42 of 60 MCQs and 70% on all three FRQs, the model composite is 70%; a 70% user-entered cutoff for a 5 produces an estimated 5, not an official AP result.
