SAT Score Calculator
Enter existing official or practice-test section scores from 200 to 800. The calculator only adds those two section scores and does not convert raw answers or adaptive-module performance.
How to use this calculator
Enter an existing Reading and Writing section score and an existing Math section score.
Review that both values came from the same score report or practice test and are section scores rather than raw correct-answer counts.
Read the summed SAT total and the two entered section scores.
Formula
SAT total score = entered Reading and Writing section score + entered Math section score. Each entered section score must be a multiple of 10 from 200 through 800.
Worked example
Entering 650 for Reading and Writing and 700 for Math produces an SAT total of 1,350.
Assumptions and limits
- The calculator cannot reproduce College Board’s adaptive scoring or turn raw answers into section scores; it only sums entered section scores.
- SAT Score Calculator treats the entered values as estimates and does not infer missing project, account, or personal details.
- Calculations retain working precision except where the cited method requires an intermediate rounding step; displayed values are then formatted separately. Source rules and dated rates must be rechecked when they change.
